Tools for Radiotherapy in Oncology

The SRS/SRT was specially developed for the treatment of the brain, head and neck (stereotactic radiotherapy). Head fixation with the Encompass™ SRS,
immobilisation system is particularly useful for stereotactic radiosurgery. The system has a rear thermoplastic and front open-view mask.

The Solstice™ SRS Immobilisation System uses different types of thermoplastic. The system is FDA 510(k)-cleared and CE-marked, including Type-S™ and Posifix versions.

ClearVision thermoplastic masks are part of CIVCO’s Tranquility™ series for radiotherapy. The masks for 3D tracking maximise patient comfort. They have special patterns that feel open, yet are rigid and reproducible.

They are available as head, neck and shoulder masks with an open neck area for additional camera exposure.

The innovative C-Qual M is made of an image-friendly, non-ferrous material that is suitable for different treatment modalities. Integration with the Monarch Overhead Arm Positioner enables upward positioning of the arms so that the board can be correctly adjusted up/down on the patient, helping to reduce patient slippage.

CIVCO offers various adjustable support devices for better positioning of the lower extremities. The Combifix 3 is an example of this. The plate can be attached to the lying surface and combined with tools such as the Kneefix and the Feetfix.

The system has unique design features that allow for improved patient positioning and targeted movement restriction.
